Director Jason Reitman, that has brought us great Indie classics such as Thank You for Smoking and Juno has crafted his most personal and most effective portrait to date, Up in the Air. The film stars George Clooney, also giving his most intimate and beautiful performance of his career, as Ryan, a traveling "Firing-Man," who plans on racking up as much frequent flyer miles as he can. Completely void of human connection and emotion, even from his two sisters, one of which is getting married, Ryan seems completely content with his choice of living. All seems well until he meets his female version in the beautiful and charismatic Alex, played with sexual force and intensity by Vera Farmiga. At the same time, a change at his job makes him acquire a student, Natalie, played with sensitivity and vigor by Anna Kendrick, to learn the ropes of the business before potentially making a devastating change to Ryan's way of life.

The film, based on the book of the same title, is a moving and witty piece of cinema. The line deliveries given are some of the best liners of the year. The adaptation by Reitman and Sheldon Turner is of beautiful and social importance in today's day and age. There was no better time than now, to bring a film like this to the table. Dana E. Glauberman's crisp and precise editing sets the pace as we travel with Ryan in this beautiful account. Reitman's direction shows he's a force to be reckoned with and should be in full blown force for Oscar consideration along with the adaptation shared with Turner.

George Clooney, who's having one hell of a year along with his other comedic turn in The Men Who Stare at Goats, gains sympathy and emotion from the viewer, which up until now, Clooney had always struggled for. The role is right up Clooney's alley and with humorous strength, conveys the pain and loneliness of an otherwise charming man successfully.

Vera Farmiga as Alex, is a beautiful as she is dark, and as sexy as she is ugly. Farmiga has finally landed the right role that, in her years of wrong place at the wrong time, should land her a first-time Oscar nomination. Never showing her hand, Farmiga keeps and earns your trust, attention, and admiration. It's one of the most divisive and structurally brilliant supporting turns of the year.

Seemingly not playing with a full deck is Natalie, played most beautifully by Anna Kendrick, who portrays brains don't equal smart choices. Kendrick earns your care and concern for the character, as she follows Ryan around and constantly badgers him about happiness and love, she naïvely and courageously shows the tenderest parts of youth in today's world. Kendrick will likely be sitting along side Farmiga at Oscar's ceremony.

Jason Bateman, playing Craig Gregory, the boss in charge, is amusing in a brief but memorable role. Amy Morton and Melanie Lynsky, who play Ryan's sisters, are valuable and sufficient enough to book end a wonderful tale. Danny McBride, an outstanding comic talent to watch, is as good as ever. And finally, in otherwise cameos, Sam Elliott and the great Zack Galifianakis are uproarious in their respective roles.

This could very well be the crowd and critical pleaser of the year. It has what the 2004 film Sideways lacked, the emotional edge. Long after the film, you take these characters home with you and remind yourself of its authenticity in delivery, poise, and premise. Up in the Air is one of the best pictures of the year.

A new fantastic tool for System Administrators-Autorun eater

Autorun Eater was born due to the increase of malwares using the 'autorun.inf' method to infect users unknowingly be it from flash drives, external hard disks or any other removable storage device.

When a device is infected with a malware and an 'autorun.inf' file is dropped, the shell menu is normally modified to execute the malware whenever the unsuspecting user accesses the infected drive.

Autorun Eater will warn you and remove any suspicious 'autorun.inf' files(based on user decision/settings) so that the malware is not executed while accessing the infected drive. There are also certain cases whereby the malware has been removed by an antivirus but the 'autorun.inf' file remains. This will cause the drive to be inaccessible through the conventional method(double-click). Autorun Eater will also remove it if necessary so that you can access the drive as usual.

Indian call centers are cheating us,uk,australian users by scam software

Well being a technical person means you get to see so many different sides of people,but recently what I have seen entirely blew my mind and I am feeling seriously ashamed of myself.

I have joined this new small call center as a technical person,the process going on there is basically randomly calling us.uk and australian people and tell them that we like to perform a free scan using a software for free and naturally most of the time the customers  agree and let the control of their computers to us,the technical people and we start our magic.That would be kind of unprofessional for me to tell you but you know what, I am going to,we use a software that is scam and shows the users there are 32390(approx) errors and infections etc etc are on their computers and certainly the users got afraid and then the agents ask them to buy our original software solutions and then they are asked to fill up a form and get a subscription from our call center for 1 year(costs $149),2 year(I forgot the actual but it was around $250) and for 3 years($349).The trusting users blindly buys  most of the times without even knowing when they are filling the subscriptions forms and putting their highly important information like the credit card number or visa card number when we are all seeing their each step,now I am not saying we are using this number to use it illegally but if someone wants to it will be just a piece of cake for him or her.As we promise to service their computers then what we basically do is use some free but effective softwares like malwarebytes or ccleaner or something like that which the users can download from internet without spending nothing.

I have spent 3 fu***** day in this call center and finally just had it although the job was really easy for me,so am I being a fruitcake here cause so many people are doing it and earning a handsome income.Just thought of a  particular incident one morning an agent came to us and told us a customer who bought a subscription from us and after we have performed service(huh who am I kidding) some company has scanned his computer with their software find the exact number of errors that we found earlier,huh that’s a funny one.

For me it was enough when I had to talk to one of the australian customer,he seemed just too polite and I was furious on myself for lying to him after he paid the money.So bottom line for me I have to find a decent job again oh and for the us uk and australian people do not do not do not believe any person who want to take control of your computer remotely.

Spread this message among the us,uk and australian people as much as you can to save some of our reputation(I don’t know if we have any).

Suppose you have enabled static routing in your router.Now you have to disable it.So you have to find basically every ip route statement and manually put a no before it.That can be a long task.

Cisco Trainer Jeremy Cioara showed a fantastic technique to find every line in sh run output where ip route is present.

sh run | include ip route(that’s the string)

so now you get all the ip route statement and in teraterm you just select the text and right click the text will be pasted.

Jeremy currently maintains two IT-related organizations, continues to author technical books, and educate individuals in both the classroom and online arenas. Internet Explorer is still the worst browser ever

Not much to say,here is a complain from an angry user whom we can relate to very much by the way

“I HATE 8!   The stupid screen freezes all the time or won't even come up then I have to close it and reopen it....then that stupid box comes up wanting to know if I want to restart the previous session or go to the home page.  IE 7 is so much better than 8.  I wish I had never installed the CRAP on my computers.  It's especially bad on our laptop.  AHHHHH!   Can't you do something about this? “
